PROVIDE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT IN A SAFE AND LOVING HOME FOR CHILDREN AWAITING FOSTER CARE PLACEMENT. THE HOME IS PROVIDED TO ANY CHILD ENTERING FOSTER CARE AND THE CHILDREN ARE GIVEN CLOTHES, TOYS, FOOD, ETC. TO MEET THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS. IN ADDITION, ITEMS ARE PROVIDED TO THE CHILD AND FOSTER FAMILY TO HELP WITH THE TRANSITION SUCH AS CLOTHES, CAR SEATS, BACKPACKS, FOOD OR ANY OTHER ITEM THAT THEY MAY NEED. IN 2021, ISAIAH 117 HOUSE HAD 6 OPEN HOMES STAFFED PRIMARILY BY VOLUNTEERS WHO SHARED OVER 11,000 HOURS AND SERVED 1,354 RED DOOR GUESTS IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING 425 INDIVIDUAL CHILDREN AND 179 FOSTER FAMILIES WITH RESOURCES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DCS IN 2 STATES.
