CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: KARE FOR KIDS SERVED OVER 400 CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS TIME BY PROVIDING 3 COMPLETE OUTFITS, UNDER GARMENTS, SOCKS AND SHOES, WINTER COATS/HATS/GLOVES, AND 3 TOYS AS THEIR "WISH LIST" ITEMS. THE ITEMS GO TOWARDS HELPING CHILDREN ENROLLED IN DAWSON COUNTY SCHOOLS.
COMMUNITY EGG HUNT: KARE HOSTS THIS FREE EVENT FOR ANYONE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND. KARE PROVIDES OVER 20,000 EGGS ON MULTIPLE FIELDS. OTHER CHILDREN ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED LIKE BOUNCE HOUSES, FACEPAINTING AND REFRESHMENTS.
KARE KLOSET: A BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROGRAM TO PROVIDE EACH SCHOOL-AGED CHILD 3 COMPLETE OUTFITS, PAIR OF SHOES, PACKAGE OF SOCKS, AND UNDER GARMENTS. WE PROVIDE OVER 250 CHILDREN BACK-TO-SCHOOL CLOTHES EACH YEAR.
