MISBO PROVIDES ITS OVER 400 MEMBER INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS WITH A PURCHASING PROGRAM AND ACCESS TO MISBO NEGOTIATED DISCOUNT CONTRACTS WITH ABOUT 135 VENDORS, REFERRED TO AS CONSORTIUM PARTNERS, OF GOODS AND SERVICES THAT ARE USED BY MEMBER SCHOOLS. SCHOOLS PURCHASE DIRECTLY FROM THE CONSORTIUM PARTNERS AND MISBO RECEIVES A PERCENTAGE FEE ON ALL PURCHASES, PRIMARILY FROM THE PARTNERS, AND IN SOME CASES FROM THE SCHOOLS. THE REVENUES FROM THE PURCHASING PROGRAM GENERATE APPROXIMATELY 40% OF THE ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL REVENUE.
