THE MISSION OF COASTAL JAZZ ASSOCIATION IS TO HELP JAZZ THRIVE IN SAVANNAH, GEORGIA AND THE COASTAL EMPIRE BY SPONSORING LIVE PERFORMANCES, ENCOURAGING JAZZ EDUCATION THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS, AND BY THE CAMARADERIE OF OTHERS WITH SHARED INTERESTS.

COASTAL JAZZ ASSOCIATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ANNUAL SAVANNAH JAZZ FESTIVAL, THE SAVANNAH JAZZ HALL OF FAME, AND PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO JAZZ MUSICIANS. THE ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN PROUDLY PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING JAZZ MUSIC AND MUSICIANS THROUGH AN ALL-VOLUNTEER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, FOSTERING AND BRINGING WORLD-CLASS JAZZ MUSIC TO SAVANNAH THROUGH PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATIONAL AND LIVE PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS, MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS AND WEEKLY RADIO BROADCASTING.
