OPERATION SCHOOL BELL PROVIDES CLOTHING & SUPPLIES TO CHILDREN WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE PROPER ATTIRE FOR A LEARNING EXPERIENCE. OPERATION SCHOOL BELL SERVED OVER 12,880 ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILDREN IN 235 METRO ATLANTA SCHOOLS, INCLUDING OVER 1,207 HOMELESS CHILDREN AND FIRE VICTIMS. BACKPACK BUDDIES PROVIDE FOOD FOR STUDENTS WHO MIGHT OTHERWISE LACK MEALS OVER THE WEEKEND. IT SERVED 850 CHILDREN.
NEW BEGINNINGS PROVIDES HOUSEHOLD GOODS, CLOTHING AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS TO VICTIMS OF ABUSE AND HOMELESSNESS. NEW BEGINNINGS PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO OVER 30,000 VICTIMS THROUGH 7 DIFFERENT AGENCIES.
WEE HELP PROVIDES GOWNS, BLANKETS AND OTHER SUPPLIES TO NEWBORNS DELIVERED TO MOTHERS IN NEED AT VARIOUS HOSPITALS. WEE HELP PROVIDED OVER 1,000 NEWBORN LAYETTES TO EIGHT ATLANTA-AREA HOSPITALS AND AGENCIES.BEARS FOR CHILDREN PROVIDES STUFFED TOY BEARS TO POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND HOSPITALS WHICH WERE THEN GIVEN TO TRAUMATIZED CHILDREN. BEARS COMFORTED OVER 1,230 SCARED AND SICK CHILDREN TO EIGHT HOSPITALS AND EMERGENCY SERVICES.
