ADVOCATING ANIMAL WELFARE AND PROVIDING EDUCATION AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO PET OWNERS AND SHELTERS ALONG WITH COLLABORATIONS WITH SOUTH CAROLINA LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND PERSONNEL TO END ANIMAL CRUELTY, NEGLECT AND OVERPOPULATION IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
OPERATING A LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC TO HELP REDUCE THE NUMBER OF UNWANTED ANIMALS. WHILE NOT REFLECTED IN THE REVENUES OR EXPENSES REPORTED ON THE 990, THE HSPCA ALSO RECEIVED AN IN-KIND DONATION CONSISTING OF ONE VETERINARY SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC VEHICLE USED THROUGHOUT THE MAJORITY OF THE YEAR.
