(DBA VISIT DURANGO) OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY AS A DESTINATION MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE DURANGO AND LA PLATA COUNTY AREA AS A TOURIST DESTINATION, ENGAGING IN SALES AND MARKETING ACTIVITIES, AND PROVIDING VISITOR SERVICES TO GROUPS AND TOURISTS. THE ROLE OF VISIT DURANGO IS TO BUILD BRAND AWARENESS, ATTRACT VISITORS TO THE AREA, INFORM THEM ABOUT VISITOR OPPORTUNITIES, STIMULATE THE LOCAL ECONOMY, AND ULTIMATELY IMPROVE RESIDENTS' QUALITY OF LIFE.
