TO (1) PROMOTE THE SAFE OPERATION OF OUR MEMBER COMPANIES' FACILITIES, (2) DEVELOP AND PROMULGATE TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR THE MIDSTREAM ENERGY INDUSTRY, (3) ADVOCATE FOR OUR MEMBER COMPANIES IN FEDERAL AND STATE REGULATORY AND LEGISLATIVE MATTERS AND (4)COMMUNICATE THE BENEFITS OF MIDSTREAM INDUSTRY AND ITS EMPLOYEES TO THE U.S. ECONOMY THROUGH VARIOUS MEDIA PLATFORMS, AND (5)ORGANIZE MEETINGS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION OF AND THE SHARING OF KNOWLEDGE BY THE EMPLOYEES OF OUR MEMBER COMPANIES.
