THE NORTHEAST DISABLED ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (NDAA) IS A 501(C) 3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURSUE A VARIETY OF RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE SPORTS. LOCATED IN BURLINGTON, VERMONT, OUR CURRENT PROGRAMS INCLUDE WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL, COMPETITIVE MARATHON HANDCYCLING, POWER WHEELCHAIR SOCCER, SLED HOCKEY, CROSS COUNTRY SIT SKIING, ADAPTIVE SAILING, KAYAKING AND OTHER WATER BASED ACTIVITIES. WE PROMOTE AND SPONSOR ATHLETICS FOR PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES IN THEIR PURSUIT OF ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE. THIS YEAR WE ADDED ZIP-LINING TO OUR PROGRAM OFFERINGS. B THIS YEAR WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 450 PARTICIPANTS IN OUR PROGRAMS AND HAD 150 VOLUNTEERS ASSIST.
