THE ASTEROID INSTITUTE PROGRAM HOUSES ALL OF OUR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACTIVITIES. OUR 2021 PROJECTS INCLUDED CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF THE ASTEROID DISCOVERY ANALYSIS AND MAPPING (ADAM) PROJECT, WHICH LINKS MILLIONS OF MOVING OBJECTS (AKA ASTEROIDS) DETECTIONS INTO REALISTIC AND TIME-FORWARD PREDICTABLE ORBITS. IN ADDITION, THE INSTITUTE PUBLISHED AND PRESENTED PAPERS, GREW OUR ENGINEERING STAFF, AND BUILT OUR ASTEROID RESEARCH FELLOWS ACTIVITIES THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON.


OUR EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY PROGRAM INCLUDED SPONSORSHIP OF ASTEROID DAY (WWW.ASTEROIDDAY.ORG), A UNITED NATIONS-RECOGNIZED DAY OF EDUCATION AND AWARENESS, TO SUPPORT INDEPENDENTLY ORGANIZED EVENTS WORLDWIDE AND CREATE A GLOBAL BROADCAST DELIVERED ONLINE, OVER SATELLITE NETWORKS, AND THROUGH DIGITAL PLATFORMS. IN ADDITION, B612 DELIVERED PUBLIC PROGRAMS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES THROUGH OUR WEBSITE AND SPEAKING EVENTS DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.
