THE PURPOSE OF THE ILOA IS TO EXPAND HUMAN UNDERSTANDING OF THE COSMOS THROUGH OBSERVATION FROM THE MOON.IN 2023, ILOA WAS INVOLVED IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: - ILO-X SUCCESSFULLY LANDED NEAR THE SOUTH POLE OF THE MOON, ON THE FIRST USA MISSION TO LAND ON THE MOON IN OVER 50 YEARS. - ILOA CONDUCTED A SERIES OF TWO INTERNATIONAL GALAXY FORUM EVENTS FOR TEACHERS, STUDENTS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. FORUMS WERE HELD IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: - KANSAS, USA (AUGUST 16, 2023) - HAWAII, USA (NOVEMBER 15, 2023)
