LSST, INC., HEADQUARTERED IN TUCSON, ARIZONA, IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT 501(C)(3) CORPORATION FORMED TO INITIATE THE LSST PROJECT AND ADVANCE THE SCIENCE OF ASTRONOMY AND PHYSICS. LSST, INC. IS A COLLABORATOR IN THE RUBIN OBSERVATORY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT (PREVIOUSLY THE LSST PROJECT), THAT IS FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED BY THE FEDERAL FUNDING AGENCIES, NSF AND DOE, AND BY PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM LSST, INC. LSST, INC. REPRESENTS A CONSORTIUM OF NEARLY 35 INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS. DURING RUBIN OPERATIONS THE PRIVATELY-FUNDED LSST CORPORATION (LSST, INC.) WILL FOCUS ON ENABLING SCIENCE BY HELPING THE COMMUNITY PREPARE TO MAXIMIZE THE SCIENCE IMPACT OF THE RUBIN OBSERVATORY LEGACY SURVEY OF SPACE AND TIME (LSST). LSST, INC.
