THE ASSOCIATION HAS HIRED A CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP & IMPLEMENT A NEW ORGANIZATION CHARTER AND STRATEGIC PLAN FOR AN NWPCA MEXICO CHAPTER. THE PLAN WOULD INCLUDE THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEWSLETTER ALONG WITH ORGANIZATING A MEETING IN MEXICO.
NATURES PACKAGING IS A CAMPAIGN DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF WOOD PACKAGING. IT WILL SUPPLY RESEARCH AND ANALYTICAL SUPPORT TO GATHER ENVIRONMENTAL FACTS AND FIGURES ON ISSUES SUCH AS LIFE CYCLE ANALYSIS, FOREST SUSTAINABILITY, CERTIFICATION AND WOOD RECYCLING PROGRAMS.
THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO FUND RESEARCH WITH VIRGINIA TECH UNIVERSITY TO INVESTIGATE THE EFFECT OF PLASTIC PAIDS AND DRUMS ON COMPRESSION STRESSES ON THE TOP SURFACE OF WOODEN PALLETS.
