NATIONAL CONFERENCE - HELD ANNUALLY IN THE SPRING TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF CONCERN TO BLACK ENGINEERING STUDENTS. THE FOCUS IS ON THE CULTURAL, TECHNICAL, ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL CONCERNS OF THE MEMBERSHIP.
NSBE GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
SUMMER ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE FOR KIDS-(SEEK): SEEK SERVES, IN PART, AS NSBES SOLUTION TOINCREASING THE NUMBER OF UNDERREPRESENTED CHILDREN PURSUING CAREERS IN THE STEM FIELDS. THUS,SEEK BEGINS EXPOSING THESE GROUPS TO ENGINEERING AS EARLY AS 3RD GRADE, AND CONTINUES THESTEM EXPOSURE THROUGH THE 12TH GRADE.IN ADDITION, THIS EXPOSURE WILL BE PROVIDED BY UTILIZINGNSBE MEMBERS, WHO ARE, COLLEGIATE STUDENTS, MAJORING IN STEM FIELDS.
