ADVOCATED FOR EFFECTIVE MANGEMENT OF 245 MILLION ACRES OF PUBLIC LAND ADMINISTERED BY BLM FOR THE PUBLIC'S BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT. PRODUCED QUARTERLY ISSUES OF NEWSLETTER "THE PUBLIC LANDS MONITOR" WITH A DISTRIBUTION TO ABOUT 1000 RECIPIENTS. PROVIDED RECOMMENDATIONS AND INPUT ON VARIOUS ISSUES TO THE BLM, DEPARMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND CONGRESS.
EDUCATED MEMBERS ON LAND ISSUES AND PROVIDED INFORMATION AND BOOKS TO MEMBERS ON RELATED ISSUES. HELD A VIRTUAL CONVENTION FOR MEMBERS TO NETWORK AND SHARE VIEWS ON BLM ISSUES. PLF CELEBRATED THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT WITH A SERIES OF PUBLIC EVENTS. FOUR FORUMS WERE HELD ONLINE TO ADDRESS ISSUES THE BLM IS FACING IN ITS NEXT 25 YEARS. TWO-IN PERSON RECEPTIONS WERE HELD HONORING THE BLM DIRECTOR, THE NEW BLM FOUNDATION AND THE WORK OF OUR PUBLIC LAND MANAGERS OVER THE LAST 75 YEARS.
