NCHER PROVIDES ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES ON BEHALF OF STATE, NONPROFIT, AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVED IN FEDERAL AND PRIVATE STUDENT LOAN PROGRAMS AND COLLEGE ACCESS AND SUCCESS INITIATIVES, THROUGH ITS ONGOING INVOLVEMENT AND OUTREACH WITH CONGRESS, THE WHITE HOUSE, THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, THE CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU, THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION, AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES, ASSOCIATIONS, AND ORGANIZATIONS ENGAGED IN HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCING AND POLICY.
THE COMMITTEE PROGRAMS ADDRESS OPERATIONAL AND REGULATORY ISSUES OF INTEREST TO THE STUDENT LOAN AND GRANT COMMUNITY.
