Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE FRENCH-AMERICAN CULTURAL FOUNDATION EXTENDED, EXPANDED AND IN EFFECT RELAUNCHED OUR MISSION OF PROMOTING THE FRENCH-AMERICAN RELATIONSHIP THROUGH VARIOUS CULTURAL PROGRAMMING WITH PROMINENT INSTITUTIONS SUCH AS CHATEAU DE VERSAILLES, INSTITUT MARIE CURIE, INSTITUT PAUL BOCUSE, AMERICAN HOSPITAL IN PARIS, MUSEE NATIONAL DE LA MARINE, THE WASHINGTON BALLET, MERIDIAN INTERNATIONAL CENTER, THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WOMEN IN THE ARTS, THE EMBASSY OF FRANCE, THE GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM, THE CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS, AND MOUNT VERNON AMONG OTHERS. THE YEAR'S WORK AND PROGRAMS ENTAILED WORKING WITH EXISTING PARTNERSHIPS, IDENTIFYING NEW PARTNERS AND ELEVATING THE FOUNDATION'S WORK WITH THE EMBASSY OF FRANCE TO ALLOW FOR BROADENING OF OUR AUDIENCES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ATLANTIC. AFTER DOING AN EXTENSIVE ANALYSIS IN 2020 AS TO HOW WE MIGHT NAVIGATE THE UNCERTAINTY PRESENTED BY COVID-19, WE BEGAN PLANNING PROGRAMMING THAT COULD HAPPEN BOTH IN PERSON AND DIGITALLY. AS PROOF OF OUR PLANNING, WE WERE ABLE TO EXECUTE AN IN PERSON AND ONLINE SYMPOSIUM REGARDING SPACE AND THE JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE IN SEPTEMBER 2021, WITH THE PARTNERSHIPS FROM NASA, BALLAEROSPACE, ARIANESPACE, AND NORTHROP GRUMMAN. IN DECEMBER 2021, AS REQUESTED BY THE EMBASSY OF FRANCE AND AMERICA ABROAD MEDIA, WE HOSTED THE CAST OF UN VILLAGE FRANAIS AND PLANNED AN IN PERSON SYMPOSIUM AND SCREENING AT THE EMBASSY OF FRANCE, AS WELL AS AN INTERVIEW WITH NYU DC.
