LENDING PROGRAM - FINANCES AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS THAT SERVE LOW-INCOME, RURAL RESIDENTS AND ADMINISTERS SEVERAL REVOLVING LOAN FUNDS TO PROMOTE AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
KNOWLEDGE SHARING- PROVIDES TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON RURAL HOUSING ISSUES TO VARIOUS COMMUNITY GROUPS THROUGHOUT THE US. THIS IS DONE THROUGH FORMAL TRAININGS, ONE-ON-ONE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CONNECTING LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO RESOURCES WHICH CAN BUILD THEIR CAPACITY AND STRENGTHEN THEIR COMMUNITY.
RESEARCH AND INFORMATION - CONDUCTS RESEARCH AND STUDIES AND REPORTS ON A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS RELATED TO RURAL HOUSING RELATED TO THE HOUSING CONDITIONS OF THE RURAL POOR TO HELP INFORM SOUND HOUSING POLICIES AND STRATEGIES.
