QUALIFIED HOMEBUYERS MUST SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE A COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AND INVEST IN AT LEAST 250 SWEAT EQUITY HOURS BACK INTO THE PROGRAM AS AN EXAMPLE OF THEIR WILLINGNESS TO PARTNER WITH BRHFH AS CONSTRUCTION OCCURS ON THEIR HOMES.
HOME REPAIR PROGRAM: BRHFH'S HOME REPAIR PROGRAM SEEKS TO PROVIDE CRITICAL HOME REPAIRS TO LOCAL HOMEOWNERS WHO DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES TO MAKE REPAIRS THEMSELVES. OFTEN, REPAIRS ARE USED TO MODIFY A HOME FOR AN ADAPTIVE USE PER CHANGES IN THE HOMEOWNER'S SITUATION. TYPICAL RECIPIENTS OF HOME REPAIRS INCLUDE VETERANS, SENIOR CITIZENS, RESIDENTS WHO HAVE PHYSICALLY LIMITED ABILITIES, AND THOSE WHO SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD TO MAINTAIN THEIR HOME.
