THE TRANSPORTATION LAWYERS ASSOCIATION ("TLA") IS AN INDEPENDENT BAR ASSOCIATION COMPRISED OF IN-HOUSE, GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE PRACTICE ATTORNEYS. ITS MEMBERS ASSIST PROVIDERS AND COMMERCIAL USERS OF DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, IN ALL MODES. TLA IS DEDICATED TO KEEPING ITS MEMBERS AHEAD OF THE CONSTANT CHANGES IN THE SPECIALIZED LEGAL ENVIRONMENT GOVERNING ALL ASPECTS OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN AND PASSENGER TRAVEL. THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS CONFERENCES EACH YEAR TO UNITE PERSONS IN THE FIELD OF TRANSPORTATION LAW AND TO DEVELOP PROGRAMS FOR PERSONS IN SUCH FIELD.
THE ASSOCIATION PRODUCES THE PUBLICATION "THE TRANSPORTATION LAWYER" TO UNITE, EDUCATE AND INFORM MEMBERS ON NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE AREA OF TRANSPORTATION LAW.
THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTIONS (ADR) TO PROVIDE PROCESSES THAT HELP PARTIES RESOLVE DISPUTES WITHOUT A TRIAL. ADR SERVICES INCLUDE MEDIATION AND ARBITRATION. THE ASSOCIATION'S ADMINISTRATION VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES.
