THE ORGANIZATION MISSION IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR SEXUAL ASSAULT WHILE STRIVING TO PREVENT AND END THE CYCLE OF ABUSE THROUGH EDUCATION, SELF DISCOVERY OF NEED AND PERSONAL CHOICES AND HELPING PERSONS LEARN TO BUILD BOUNDARIES FOR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.

THE CRISIS CENTER PROVIDES A 24 HOUR HOTLINE AND TOOK OVER 183 CALLS DURING THE YEAR. ADVOCACY SERVICES WERE PROVIDED FOR OVER 274 VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT. 40 INDIVIDUALS WERE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE WITH PROTECTION FROM ABUSE AND STALKING ORDERS. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDES 192 OUTREACH SUPPORT GROUPS, TO 1581 PARTICIPANTS, COURT ADVOCACY, A REFERRAL AGENCY, COMMUNITY EDUCATION, AND OUTREACH SERVICES FOR SURROUNDING COUNTIES.
THE ORGANIZATION RUNS A SHELTER HOUSE TO PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION, SAFE HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. APPROXIMATELY 53 PEOPLE WERE PROVIDED WITH SHELTER FOR 567 BED NIGHTS THIS YEAR.
