ART PAINTINGS, SCULPTURES AND OTHER CREATIONS BY LOCAL ARTISTS ARE DISPLAYED AND OFFERED FOR SALE ON A COMMISSION BASIS IN THE GALLERY. ARTIST RECEPTIONS ARE HELD TO INTRODUCE THE PUBLIC TO LOCAL ARTISTS AND THEIR WORKS. THESE CHANGING LOCAL ARTIST DISPLAYS ARE DESIGNED TO EXPOSE AREA RESIDENTS TO THE FEATURED ART AND ARTIST TO PROMOTE ART APPRECIATION AND ENCOURAGE PUBLIC SUPPORT OF THE ARTISTS.
MISCELLANEOUS LOCAL ARTISTIC FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS AIMED AT PROMOTING ARTS, CULTURE, AND BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE GREATER WICHITA AREA.
THE ART AWARDS PROGRAM WHICH ANNUALLY GIVES AWARDS TO NOMINATED ARTISTS AND ORGANIZATIONS. A COUNCIL APPOINTED COMMITTEE SELECTS THE WINNERS AND MAKES THE AWARDS.
