MID-AMERICA ARTS ALLIANCE (M-AAA) TOURS ARTS AND HUMANITIES EXHIBITIONS NATIONALLY THROUGH EXHIBITS USA. THIS PROGRAM ENABLES US TO CREATE ACCESS TO AN ARRAY OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES EXPERIENCES, NURTURE THE UNDERSTANDING OF DIVERSE CULTURES AND ART FORMS AND ENCOURAGE THE EXPANDING DEPTH AND BREADTH OF CULTURAL LIFE IN COMMUNITIES. IN FY2023, 27 EXHIBITIONS TOURED THROUGHOUT 62 COMMUNITIES ACROSS 30 STATES.
M-AAA SUPPORTS REGIONAL ARTISTS AND ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH ITS GRANT PROGRAMS: ARTISTIC INNOVATIONS, THE REGIONAL TOURING PROGRAM (RTP) CREATIVE FORCES, AND AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN GRANTS. IN FY2023, WE PROVIDED 94 GRANTS IN SUPPORT OF ARTISTS AND ORGANIZATIONS, PRESENTING PUBLIC PROGRAMS AND RELATED EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
M-AAA PROVIDES INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT AND TRAINING IN CAPACITY BUILDING FOR OUR CONSTITUENTS, PARTNERS, AND STAFF. ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS PROVIDE TRAINING IN GOVERNANCE, STRATEGIC PLANNING, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT FOR SMALL-TO-MIDSIZE CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS IN OUR REGION. ART CONNECT PROVIDES INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. ARTIST INC, INTERCHANGE, ARTISTS 360, AND CATALYZE PROVIDE TRAINING TO INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS TO STRENGTHEN THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND PEER NETWORKS. IN FY2023, WE PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING TO ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS FROM ARKANSAS, KANSAS, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, TEXAS, OKLAHOMA, AND NEW MEXICO.
