ARTSPLACE - SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR YOUTH AGES 14-18. YOUTH WORK ON TEAMS SUPERVISED AND GUIDED BY PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS TO CREATE ORIGINAL WORKS IN THEATER, DANCE, LITERATURE, AND VISUAL ARTS.
OUR TOWN/NEA - AN ARTS PROGRAM DONE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ROCKFORD HOUSING AUTHORITY TO ASSIST LOW-INCOME ADULTS TO DEVELOP ARTISTIC TALENTS AND DEVELOP BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WITH AND FOR THEM.
EDUC MEM/RAAC CAMP - SUMMER ARTS CAMP FOR CHILDREN 5-13 HELD AT ELLIS SCHOOL. CHILDREN TAKE THREE ARTS CLASSES A DAY FROM PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE CAMP, THEY PRESENT PERFORMANCES AND AN ART EXHIBIT TO DEMONSTRATE WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED.
