FAMILY PROMISE RUNS THREE PROGRAMS CURRENTLY. TWO OF THEM BEING UNDER OUR PRIMARY UMBRELLA. WHEN FAMILIES CALL SEEKING SERVICES FROM FAMILY PROMISE WE HAVE A REFERRAL PROGRAM THAT GUIDES THEM THROUGH THE PROCESS TO ACCESS OIUR SERVICES OR OTHER SERVICES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. WITHIN OU MAIN PROGRAM FAMILIES WTH A HOUSING CRISIS ARE SHELTERED IN ROTATION OF FAITH COMMUNITIES. THIS OPERATES 24 HOURS/DAY AND 365 DAYS PER YEAR. FAMILIES ARE PROVIDED WITH THREE MEALS A DAY AND INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT TO FIND APPROPRIATE HOIUSING AND GROW TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY. SINCE OPENING ON APRIL 30, 2017, WEVE HAD 8108 BED NIGHTS, 24,324 MEALS SERVED, 44 FAMILIES SERVED, 80 OF FAMILIES GRADUATED IN TO HOUSING. 162 CHILDREN SERVED WITH 16 ACTIVE SUPPORTING/HOST ORGANISATIONS.
OUR RAPID REHOUSING PROGRAM HELPS HOUSEHOLDS CURRENTLY HOMELESS OR SOON TO BE HOIMELESS. HOUSEHOLDS MUST BE SUSTAINABLE WITH SOME SORT OF INCOME WHICH COULD BE SSI, SSDI, RETIREMENT OR EMPLOYMENT TO MANE A FEW. MUST BE WILLING TO PARTICIATE IN WEEKLY CASE-MANAGEMENT MEETINGS WHICH WILL TAPER OFF AS TIME PROGRESSES AND HOUSEHOLDS MUST BE WILLING TO SPEAK ABOUT THEIR FINANCES AND BE WILLING TIO MAKE SMART FINANCIAL DECISIONS MOVING FORWARD. THIS PROGRAM HAS SERVED 23 HOUSEHOLDS TOTAL OVER THE LAST YEAR. THIS PROGRAM HAS A 100 SUCCESS RATE AT THIS TIME AND HAS EFFECTIVELY KEPT THESE HOUSEHOLDS FROM BEING HOMELESS THROUGHOUT THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
