THE ALBERTSONS COMPANIES FOUNDATION, WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS, SEEKS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES. BY CAREFULLY DIRECTING ITS FUNDRAISING EFFORTS AND THE GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS OF ALBERTSONS' EMPLOYEES, VENDORS AND CUSTOMERS, THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS A VARIETY OF WORTHY CAUSES IN HUNGER RELIEF, YOUTH AND EDUCATION, HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, VETERANS AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. IT TAKES PRIDE IN ENSURING THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE FUNDS RAISED STAYS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND REFLECTS WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ITS CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES.

NOURISHING NEIGHBORS - OUR NOURISHING NEIGHBORS PROGRAM'S MISSION IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL OF OUR NEIGHBORS INCLUDING KIDS, SENIORS AND FAMILIES HAVE ACCESS TO NOURISHING FOOD. THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT FUNDS BREAKFAST FOR KIDS, SUMMER MEALS, HOLIDAY DINNERS, BACKPACKS FOR KIDS TO TAKE HOME OVER THE WEEKENDS, SCHOOL PANTRIES AND MANY OTHER METHODS, NOURISHING NEIGHBORS' GOAL IS TO ENSURE ALL OUR COMMUNITIES' TABLES AND PANTRIES ARE FULL SO THAT OUR NEIGHBORS CAN LEARN, GROW AND SUCCEED.


THE ALBERTSONS COMPANIES FOUNDATION SUPPORTS CAUSES THAT IMPACT OUR CUSTOMERS' LIVES. OUR STORES PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MOBILIZE FUNDING AND CREATE AWARENESS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGH OUR EMPLOYEES' PASSION, PARTNERSHIPS WITH OUR VENDORS AND THE GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS BY OUR CUSTOMERS.
