PROVIDED BAGS OF FOOD FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILDREN AT MADISON COUNTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THROUGH THE BAGS OF BLESSINGS MINISTRY. THE FOOD IS PROVIDED FOR WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAY BREAKS. THE STUDENTS AT THIS ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ARE MADE UP OF OVER 55% OF FAMILIES AT OR BELOW THE NATIONAL PROVERTY LEVEL.
JACOB'S LADDER IS A PROGRAM THAT ENCOMPASSES ALL THAT THE ORGANIZATION HOPES TO ACCOMPISH. IT IS AN INTERVENTION PROGRAM FOR AT RISK TEENS. VOLUNTEERS MENTOR THESE TEENS, ATTEND THEIR SCHOOL EVENTS, TRACK THEIR GRADES, TUTOR AND PRAY FOR THEM. MULTIPLE TEENS ARE IMPACTED BY THIS MINISTRY.
THROUGH THE CHRISTMAS STORE MINISTRY, THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERS WITH CHRISTMAS CHARITIES YEAR ROUND AND ASSIST WITH THE APPLICATION TO RECEIVE CHRISTMAS GIFT ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN ATTENDING MADISON COUNTY ELEMENTARY AND THEIR SIBLINGS THROUGH AGE 18. THE MINISTRY ASSISTED SEVERAL FAMILIES DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR.
LED DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES DESIGNED TO BIND TOGETHER A COMMUNICTY THROUGH SCRIPTURE. THE CLASSES RANGE FORM BEATITUDES TO RACIAL RECONCILIATION. MEALS AND CHILD CARE ARE PROVIDED TO ATTENDEES. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CLASSES IS TO LEAD ATTENDEES TO A RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST AND A LIFE THAT DESIRES TO SEEK GOD'S WILL. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS THE RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY WITH ASSISTANCE WITH RENT, UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION AND VARIOUS OTHER NECESSITIES AS THEY ARISE.
