ADAPTIVE RIDING - OUR FARM PROVIDES A SAFE AND PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT WITH A NON-JUDGEMENTAL ATMOSPHERE WHERE RIDING-CENTERED ACTIVITIES HELP TO BUILD STRENGTH AND IMPROVE MOTOR SKILLS IN A FUN AND SUPPORTIVE SETTING. OUR TEAM IS FOCUSED ON A PERSON'S ABILITY AND NOT PERCIEVED LIMITATIONS. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, WE SERVED 75 CLIENTS WITH THIS PROGRAM.


EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING - OUR THERAPISTS, TRAINED IN EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY, USE OBSERVATIONAL FINDINGS IN THE HORSE/HUMAN RELATIONSHIP TO YIELD PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC BENEFITS. THE HEALING EXPERIENCE IN A PASTURE OR BARN IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM AN EXPERIENCE IN A TRADITIONAL TREATMENT CENTER. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, WE SERVED 12 CLIENTS WITH THIS PROGRAM.
