SHELTER,SAFETY & PHYSICAL NEEDS OF PARTICIPATING FAMLIES- THE SHELTER PROVIDES FAMILIES WITH FOOD, TOILETRIES, HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES, AND A SAFE LIVING ENVIRONMENT UPON ENTRANCE. CURRENTLY THERE ARE 5 FAMILIES HOUSED IN THE SHELTER AT ONE TIME. THERE IS A GRADUATE PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS 3 FAMILIES FOR AN ADDITIONAL YEAR AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM.
MOTHER'S PROGRAM-MOTHERS PARTICIPATE IN ON-SITE EMPLOYMENT PREPARATION TO ACQUIRE FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. PARTICIPANTS ENGAGE IN INTENSIVE FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION, BUDGET TRAINING, ONGOING CASE MANAGMENT, PEER AND/OR PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING, PARENTING CLASSES & ADVANCED COMPUTER TRAINING.
CHILDRENS PROGRAM- CHILDREN IN THE PROGRAM PARTICIPATE IN AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING AND PEACH(PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL AWARENESS FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE HOMELESS)ALONG WITH EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES. 100% ARE MAINTAINING STABLE EDUCATION BY ATTENDING SCHOOL AND WORKING DILLIGENTLY ON EARNING ABOVE AVERAGE GRADES.
