CONTINUED LEAFF FOR ITS SECOND YEAR, SUPPORTING 40 FARMS AND MAKING $178,000 FOOD PURCHASES THROUGH THIS PROGRAM. 50% OF THE GROWERS WHO JOINED LEAFF IN 2020 SOLD OVER $350,000 IN PRODUCE INTO THE GOOD ACRE'S OTHER WHOLESALE CHANNELS IN 2021. ADDED 1 NEW FARM SPECIALIST, WHO IS A NATIVE HMONG SPEAKER, TO THE PROGRAM TEAM TO SUPPORT HMONG GROWERS.FACILITY USE & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: $1.2 MILLION DOLLAR'S WORTH OF LOCAL FOOD IN AND OUT OF OUR FOOD HUB, AGGREGATED FROM OVER 120 LOCAL FARMERS AND FOOD MAKERS PROVIDED SERVICES (BOXES, WASHING, PACKING) FOR OVER 40 DIFFERENT FARMS/FARMING ORGANIZATIONS

MORE THAN 60 PARTICIPANTS SIGNED UP FOR WORKSHOPS IN 2021. TAUGHT 4 FARM TO SCHOOL CULINARY EDUCATION CLASSES TO 3 DOZEN SCHOOL NUTRITION STAFF IN 4 DIFFERENT DISTRICTS COMPLETED OUR SECOND VOCUL CULINARY EDUCATION COHORT.
