THE FOUNDATION WORKS TO REDUCE HUNGER AND INCREASE FOOD RECOVERY EFFORTS VIA EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY EVENTS. THE GOAL OF THESE EVENTS IS TO INFLUENCE THE SPECIALTY FOOD INDUSTRY TO VOLUNTEER TIME AND DONATE PRODUCTS TO HELP LOCAL FOOD RECOVERY AND HUNGER RELIEF ORGANIZATIONS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO WORKS TO ENCOURAGE DONATION OF FOOD FROM EXHIBITORS AT THE WINTER AND SUMMER FANCY FOOD SHOWS. IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION DISSOLVED THE ENTITY AND DISTRIBUTED THE ASSETS TO OTHER NONPROFITS.
