PFS PROVIDES PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES DEALING WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE. PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN OR ADULTS THAT ARE CURRENTLY OR PREVIOUSLY HAVE LIVED IN HOMES WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE. AFTER THE INITIAL PROGRAM PERIOD, THE PARTICIPANT ATTENDS A WEEKLY "REUNION GROUP". THE PROGRAM ALLOWS A FORUM FOR PARTICIPANTS WITH SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES TO INTERACT AND SHARE EXPERIENCES. THE PROGRAMS INVOLVE LEARNING COPING SKILLS AND PREVENTION METHODS FOR RISKY BEHAVIORS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE AT NO COST TO THE FAMILY.
