DURING LAST FISCAL YEAR, AMIH PROVIDED PERMANENT AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR OVER1200 PEOPLE WHO WERE HOMELESS OR WHO HAD BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH MENTAL ILLNESS IN PLACER COUNTY. TRANSPORTATION, UTILITIES, CASE MANAGEMENT AND GROCERIES WERE PROVIDED TO THESE INDIVIDUALS, MANY WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT-RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND LOW-INCOME. SUPPORTIVE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH WITH AMIH, PLACER COUNTY ADULT SYSTEM OF CARE, AND TURNING POINT COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.IN ADDITION, AMIH SECURED ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR RAPID REHOUSING AND HOMELESS PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN ROSEVILLE AND PLACER COUNTY TO RESPOND TO THE COVID PANDEMIC. AMIH ALSO SECURED FUNDS TO PURCHASE NEW PROPERTIES AND COMPLETE A HOTEL TO APARTMENT CONVERSION.
