TO SERVE AS A RESOURCE FOR INFORMATION ON HOUSING FOR THE MENTALLY ILL AND FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A VARIETY OF HOUSING FACILITIES FOR THE MENTALLY ILL RESIDENTS OF PLACER COUNTY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

DURING LAST FISCAL YEAR, AMIH PROVIDED PERMANENT AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR OVER 1200 PEOPLE WHO WERE HOMELESS OR WHO HAD BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH MENTAL ILLNESS IN PLACER COUNTY. TRANSPORTATION, UTILITIES, CASE MANAGEMENT AND GROCERIES WERE PROVIDED TO THESE INDIVIDUALS, MANY WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT-RISK OF HOMELESSNESS AND LOW-INCOME. SUPPORTIVE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH AMIH, PLACER COUNTY ADULT SYSTEM OF CARE, AND TURNING POINT COMMUNITY PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION, AMIH SECURED ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR RAPID REHOUSING AND HOMELESS PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN ROSEVILLEAND PLACER COUNTY. AMIH ALSO SECURED FUNDS TO PURCHASE NEW PROPERTIES AND COMPLETE A HOTEL TO APARTMENT CONVERSION.
