FUNDING IS USED TO SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF CLINICAL TRIAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FOR CHILDHOOD CANCERS BY GROWING AWARENESS FOR THE COLOR GOLD (NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED COLOR) AND SEPTEMBER (OFFICIAL MONTH) TO SUPPORT EVERY CHILD, EVERYWHERE. DISTRIBUTIONS ALLOCATED FOR G9 CENTERS OF EXCELLANCE HOSPITALS (27 IN TOTAL) AND THE CHILDREN'S ONCOLOGY GROUP INCLUDE PAYMENT ON A $500,000 PLEDGE TO SUPPORT PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR RESEARCH AND THE COMPLETION PAYMENT TO SUPPORT THE FULL FUNDING OF $250,000 FOR THE ENROLLMENT OF 1,000 CHILDREN ON THE NCI-COG PEDIATRIC MATCH CLINICAL TRIAL. THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHED THESE GOALS BY IMPACTING PEOPLE IN ALL 50 STATES THROUGH YOUTH AND SCHOOL PROGRAMS, DEDICATION OF MILES BY ATHLETES, INCREASED WEB AND SOCIAL MEDIA EXPOSURE, AS WELL AS INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATE, AND FOUNDATION GIFTS TO GROW AWARENESS THAT INSPIRES ACTION.
