THE SRRTTF ADMINISTRATIVE AND CONTRACTING ENTITY (SRRTTF-ACE) MANAGES THE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES (COLLECTION OF FUNDS AND HIRING OF CONTRACTORS) FOR THE SPOKANE RIVER REGIONAL TOXICS TASK FORCE (SRRTTF) WHICH LEADS EFFORTS TO FIND AND REDUCE TOXIC COMPOUNDS IN THE SPOKANE RIVER. THE GOAL OF SRRTTF IS TO DEVELOP A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO BRING THE SPOKANE RIVER INTO COMPLIANCE WITH WATER QUALITY STANDARDS FOR PCBS (POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYLS).

UTILIZATION OF A TECHNICAL CONSULTANT, ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORIES, AND A SAMPLING COMPANY TO COMPLETE THE MOST RECENT ANNUAL WATER QUALITY SAMPLING OF THE SPOKANE RIVER TO ASSESS PCB CONTRIBUTION TO THE RIVER FROM GROUNDWATER AND OTHER SOURCES. THE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT, ALONG WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS, ASSISTED WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE GOAL OF ACHIEVING THE APPLICABLE PCB WATER QUALITY STANDARD.UTILIZATION OF A PROFESSIONAL FACILITATOR TO MANAGE AND DOCUMENT ALL MEETINGS OF THE SPOKANE RIVER REGIONAL TOXICS TASK FORCE (SRRTTF), INCLUDING NOTICES, MINUTES AND WEBSITE UPDATES.
