UNITED MILITARY CARE CONNECTS WITH AND SERVES VETERANS OF ALL AGES AND LIFESTYLES BY PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS TO DEAL WITH THE CHALLENGES OF HOMELESSNESS, HUNGER, ISOLATION, AGING, AND BEING FORGOTTEN.

OUR WE CARE VET FAIR WAS HELD IN METRO ATLANTA. IT PROVIDED NO-COST ACCESS TO VETERANS OF ALL AGES TO OVER 125 VETERAN-SERVING PROVIDERS, INCLUDING THE VA, GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN SERVICES, SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION, AND GEORGIA DRIVER SERVICES. ALL PROVIDERS COVERED SERVICES AT THE FAIR AT NO COST TO VETERANS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS. 3,700 VETERANS AND FAMILY MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN THE FAIR.
PROGRAM EXPENSES TO INCLUDE FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, MAINTENANCE, AND PERSONNEL.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO INCLUDE HOTEL/LODGING, EMERGENCY FOOD, GROCERIES, CLOTHING (COATS, SHOES, JEANS, NEW UNDER CLOTHING), HYGIENE KITS, AND BACKPACKS WERE PROVIDED TO HOMELESS VETERANS THROUGHOUT GEORGIA.
HOLIDAYS AND MORALE ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED THROUGH THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS MEAL PROGRAMS, TOYS AND WRAPPING PAPER FOR MINOR CHILDREN OF VETERANS, AND EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS HONORING VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
