THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO EXPAND STUDENT ACCESS TO HIGH-QUALITY COURSES ABOUT ISRAEL AT LEADING UNIVERSITIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BRINGING ISRAELI SCHOLARS TO U.S. AND CANADIAN CAMPUSES AS VISITING PROFESSORS FOR SEMESTER-LONG OR ANNUAL PLACEMENTS; SENDING ISRAELI SCHOLARS TO TEACH INTENSIVE COURSES ABOUT ISRAEL AT UNIVERSITIES IN OTHER COUNTRIES; CREATING LONG-TERM TEACHING POSITIONS IN ISRAEL STUDIES AT U.S. CAMPUSES, AND SUPPORTING THE EXPANSION OF COURSES IN ISRAEL STUDIES AMONG ESTABLISHED PROFESSORS AND UNIVERSITIES.
