VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE INTERVENTION PROGRAM, INC. PROVIDES MANY DIFFERENT SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IN THE THREE-COUNTY AREA. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 24-HOUR CRISIS LINE, ADVOCACY, EMERGENCY SHELTER, SURVIVORS SUPPORT GROUPS, CLIENT ADVOCACY, NETWORKING, AND ON-GOING EDUCATION. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, OUR STAFF SERVED 309 CLIENTS AND RESPONDED TO 1,783 CRISIS CALLS. WE HAD 98 CLIENTS RESIDE IN THE SHELTER FOR A TOTAL OF 5,259 DAYS. THE AVERAGE STAY IN THE SHELTER WAS 54 DAYS.
