MAZEY'S DREAM - LOW FEE COUNSELING PROGRAM. 55% OF AATPC'S CLIENTS RECEVIED COUNSELING FOR A MINIMUM FEE, PAYING AN AVERAGE OF 20 PER SESSION, BASED ON THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. NO CLIENTS WERE TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS. TO QUALIFY, CLIENTS EARNED LESS THAN 50,000 PER YEAR. MAZEY'S DREAM ENABLED AATPC TO SEE REFERRALS FROM SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS PROBATION, SOCIAL SERVICES, VICTIMS OF CRIME, ETC. COUNSELING WAS PROVIDED BY MASTER'S LEVEL INTERNS AND GRADUATE TRAINEES, ALLOWING THE CLINICIANS TO LEARN AND PRACTICE THE ADVANCED SKILLS OF ANIMAL ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION.
SASHA'S PAW - PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING PROGRAM. 45% OF AATPC'S CLIENTS PAID 85 OR MORE FOR COUNSELING SESSIONS, WHICH IS LOWER THAN THE STANDARD RATE FOR THE FRONT RANGE AREA. THESE FEES SUPPLEMENTED AND SUPPORTED MAZEY'S DREAM LOW FEE COUNSELING PROGRAM.
