STATE-WIDE TRAINING OFFICE DEDICATED TO PROVIDING QUALITY, ACCESSIBLE, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORTS CAREER ADVANCEMENT FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK WITH AND ON BEHALF OF YOUNG CHILDREN. PROVIDES SUPPORTS SUCH AS COACHING, MENTORING, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISING FOR INDIVIDUALS WORKING IN FAMILY CHILD-CARE, CHILD-CARE CENTERS, AND OTHER EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION SETTINGS THROUGHOUT KANSAS. PRIMARY SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS ARE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND INFANT TODDLER SPECIALIST NETWORK FUNDED THROUGH DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
