OPIOID PROGRAMMING THOUGH FEDERAL FUNDING BY HRSA, THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT, AND OTHERS. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES HAVE INCLUDED COLORADO'S FIRST RURAL COMPREHENSIVE HARM REDUCTION PROGRAM, THE SLV HEALTH ACCESS RISK REDUCTION PROJECT (SHARRP) AND A LONG-TERM INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM.
HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS ARE FUNDED PRIMARILY THROUGH GRANTS BY THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO ANSCHUTZ. PROGRAMMING IS AIMED AT YOUTH AND COLLEGE STUDENTS SEEKING CAREERS IN THE HEALTHCARE FIELD, HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS AND HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS.
