EACH YEAR, WE ORGANIZED CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES AT DUVENECK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN PALO ALTO, INTRODUCING KIDS TO THE CHINESE CULTURE AND CHINESE NEW YEAR. THIS YEAR'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A PRESENTATION, DISPLAY OF CHINESE ARTIFACTS, HANDS ON ACTIVITY LIKE CRAFTS AND TRYING ON TRADITIONAL CLOTHING AND TRYING OUT CHINESE FOOD. THROUGH THESE ACTIVITIES, WE ARE GIVING KIDS EXPOSURE TO A DIFFERENT CULTURE AND TO TEACH DIVERSITY AND UNITY FROM YOUNG AGE.
