THE INSTITUTE ADMINISTERS ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES FROM THE US WHILE OPERATING ITS OVERSEAS RESEARCH CENTER IN KABUL, AFGHANISTAN. THE KABUL CENTER SERVES AS A RESOURCE FOR VISITING INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARS AND FACILITATES RESEARCH, WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS AND INITIATIVES THAT PROMOTE ADVANCED SCHOLARSHIP AND THE PRESERVATION OF CULTURE IN AFGHANISTAN.
