MCE HAS TARGETED THE 54-BLOCK MIDTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD TOREACH THE NEEDIEST FAMILIES THAT LACK TRANSPORTATION, JOBS, POSITIVE FATHER FIGURES AND AN ADEQUATE EDUCATION TO OBTAIN A LIVABLE WAGE. OVER 1700 YOUTHS AND ADULTS HAVE BEEN SERVED SINCE THEN. THE MCE VISION IS TOENGAGE, ENRICH, EDUCATE & EMPOWER UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY FAMILIES BY ENHANCING RACE RELATIONS THROUGH THE CREATION OF CHRISTIAN-BASED,CULTURALLY-SENSITIVE INITIATIVES.LAST YEAR, PARTICIPANTS WERE ENGAGED IN THESE PROGRAMS 3 DAYS PERWEEK:- COUNSELING (CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY- CHOIR, ST. JOE STIXX, DANCE; VIRTUAL VIDEO THERAPY; GRIEF/TRAUMA SUPPORT GROUPS AND 1:1 SESSIONS WITH LICENSE THERAPISTS)- AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT (SOCIALIZATION, CONFLICT RESOLUTION, S.T.E.A.M.
