THE BEREAVEMENT PROGRAM PROVIDES COUNSELING FOR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, AND CHILD CARE PROVIDERS OF INFANTS WHOSE DEATHS ARE ATTRIBUTED TO SUDDEN INFANT DEATH, AS WELL AS PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN HELPING FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND AWARENESS.
THE EDUCATION PROGRAM SERVIES AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND SUPPORT FOR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, CHILD CARE PROVIDERS, PARENT EDUCATORS, FIRST RESPONDERS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS IN ORDER TO REDUCE RISK OF INFANT DEATH BY PROVIDING SAFE SLEEP EDUCATION, MATERIALS, AND SUPPLIES TO FAMILIES.
