SINCE THE ORGANIZATION BEGAN IN 2003, IT HAS PROTECTED 21 PARCELS OF LAND CONSISTING OF 100 ACRES THAT IS VALUED AT APPROXIMATELY $2.95 MILLION. THE ORGANIZATION HAS IDENTIFIED OVER 130 VACANT LOTS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT AREA THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR OPEN SPACE USE. THE ORGANIZATION HAS IDENTIFIED OVER 50 POSSIBLE VACANT PROPERTIES THAT MIGHT BE USED AS STORM MANAGEMENT AREAS TO IMPROVE WATER QUALITY FOR THE CHESAPEAKE BAY.
