CHESAPEAKE EMPLOYERS' INSURANCE COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED BY STATUTE TO BE THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURER OF LAST RESORT AS WELL AS A COMPETITIVE INSURER IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the residential facilities for older adults who are unable to function in an independent living environment because they need assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, medication, meals and housekeeping and other activities of daily living, but do not require nursing care on a regular basis.

MISSION:

THE GENERAL GERMAN AGED PEOPLE'S HOME OF BALTIMORE IS A MARYLAND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT OPERATES A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY FOR THE ELDERLY ("EDENWALD"), WHICH WAS OPENED FOR OCCUPANCY IN SEPTEMBER 1985, AND PROVIDES SERVICES THROUGH A COMBINATION OF APARTMENTS, ASSISTED LIVING AND COMPREHENSIVE CARE ACCOMMODATIONS. EDENWALD PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO PAY THEIR MONTHLY FEES. IN 2021, EDENWALD PROVIDED ASSISTANCE OF $193,246 TO 7 RESIDENTS OF THE FACILITY.

IDF SEEKS TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE IN THE U.S. AFFECTED BY PI HAS A FULLY INFORMED UNDERSTANDING OF THE PI DIAGNOSIS THAT AFFECTS THEM, ALL AVAILABLE TREATMENT OPTIONS, THE EXPECTED STANDARD OF CARE, AND ALL OF THEIR OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONNECTION AND SUPPORT WITHIN THE PI COMMUNITY.
