THE GENERAL GERMAN AGED PEOPLE'S HOME OF BALTIMORE IS A MARYLAND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT OPERATES A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY FOR THE ELDERLY ("EDENWALD"), WHICH WAS OPENED FOR OCCUPANCY IN SEPTEMBER 1985, AND PROVIDES SERVICES THROUGH A COMBINATION OF APARTMENTS, ASSISTED LIVING AND COMPREHENSIVE CARE ACCOMMODATIONS. EDENWALD PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO PAY THEIR MONTHLY FEES. IN 2021, EDENWALD PROVIDED ASSISTANCE OF $193,246 TO 7 RESIDENTS OF THE FACILITY.
