PLOT (POLITICAL LEADERS OF TODAY):IN 2022, WOMEN WINNING HAD 30+ PLOT PARTICIPANTS, WHERE THEY GAINED TRAINING, NEW SKILLS AND HANDS-ON CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE. 2022 PLOT TRAINING INCLUDED TRAINING ON CAMPAIGN FUNDAMENTALS, POLITICAL DATA, AND PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. WE HOSTED THREE FORMAL TRAINING SESSIONS FOR PLOT PARTICIPANTS. THIS TRAINING PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR NEW AND EMERGING PRO-CHOICE LEADERS TO GET HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE NOT YET VOLUNTEERED OR WORKED ON A POLITICAL CAMPAIGN. CANDIDATE RECRUITMENT & TRAINING:WOMEN WINNING IS THE ONLY MINNESOTA ORGANIZATION SOLELY FOCUSED ON TRAINING, SUPPORTING, ENDORSING AND ELECTING PRO-CHOICE WOMEN. WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AT EVERY PHASE OF A CANDIDATE'S JOURNEY TO MAXIMIZE OPPORTUNITIES TO BUILD LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY POWER. FROM HISTORIC REDISTRICTING, RECORD RETIREMENTS, EVERY STATE RACE ON THE BALLOT, TO THE DOBBS DECISION, WOMEN WINNING WAS ACTIVE AND RESPONSIVE.WE OFFER ALL SERVICES FREE-OF-CHARGE, BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS THAT PREVENT WOMEN, PARTICULARLY WOMEN OF COLOR, LGBTQ+ WOMXN, AND WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES, FROM ENGAGING IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS. WE CONTINUE TO ACTIVELY RECRUIT AND PRIORITIZE SUPPORT FOR UNDERREPRESENTED VOICES IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS. WE PROVIDE 1:1 EXPERT COACHING SESSIONS FOCUSED ON STAFF, COMMS, FIELD, AND FUNDRAISING. WE HOSTED NINE TRAINING SESSIONS FOR CANDIDATES AND THEIR STAFF, WHICH THESE INCLUDED TRAINING TOPICS:- GETTING STARTED AS A CANDIDATE: TRAINING ON HOW TO REGISTER A CAMPAIGN, SET-UP A BANK ACCOUNT, FUNDRAISE, STAFF/STRUCTURE A CAMPAIGN, AND HOW TO ANNOUNCE A CAMPAIGN- HOW TO WIN YOUR CAUCUS OR CONVENTION: TRAINING ON STRATEGY AND STRUCTURE FOR COMPETITIVE AND SUCCESSFUL CAUCUSES AND ENDORSING CONVENTIONS- ADVANCED CANDIDATE TRAINING: IN-DEPTH TRAINING ON FIELD PLANS, VALIDATOR/INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIP, FUNDRAISING, AND GET OUT THE VOTE (GOTV)OUR 2022 CAMPAIGN TOOLKIT INCLUDED RESOURCES ON: - CAMPAIGN LAUNCH- CAMPAIGN LOGISTICS AND STRUCTURES- COMMUNICATIONS- FUNDRAISING- CAUCUS AND CONVENTION- FIELD AND DIRECT VOTER CONTACTIN THE 2022 ELECTION CYCLE, OVER 200 WOMEN CONTACTED WOMEN WINNING ABOUT RUNNING FOR OFFICE. WOMEN WINNING ENDORSED 135 PRO-CHOICE CANDIDATES FOR 2022. ADDITIONALLY, FOLLOWING THE RELEASE OF NEW LEGISLATIVE MAPS, WOMEN WINNING POLITICAL DIRECTORS MADE 50+ CALLS TO PRO-CHOICE WOMEN CANDIDATES, RECRUITING DOZENS OF WOMEN TO RUN FOR OFFICE. WOMEN WINNING TRAVELED THROUGHOUT THE STATE TO RECRUIT CANDIDATES, MEETING WITH OVER 100 PRO-CHOICE WOMEN CANDIDATES AND THEIR SUPPORTERS.
