MEYER THEATRE CORPORATION IS A RENOVATED FORMER FOX THEATRE. IT SERVES TO PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE ENTERTAINMENT VENUE FOR SHOWS THAT ATTRACT SMALL AUDIENCES. IT SEATS 1,011 PEOPLE AND IS NOW MANAGED BY PMI OF GREEN BAY WHO PRESENTS AND PROMOTES SHOWS. PMI IS PAID AN ANNUAL FEE TO MANAGE THE THEATRE WITH PROFITS SPLIT BETWEEN PMI AND THE THEATRE. THE THEATRE ALSO PROVIDES A VENUE FOR LOCAL ENTERTAINERS AND GROUPS WHO COULD NOT AFFORD TO RENT LARGER FACILITIES IN THE AREA. IT PROVIDES A GREATER SEATING CAPACITY THAN WHAT THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS COULD OFFER. THE THEATRE HAS A RENOVATED WURLITZER PIPE ORGAN AND PRESENTS CONCERTS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS INTERESTED IN THE HISTORY OF THE THEATRE AND THIS PIPE ORGAN.
